1. About Session Services

Session Services operates an online ticketing platform on behalf of event promoters ("Promoters"). When you purchase a ticket through Session Services, you are entering into a contract with the relevant Promoter. Session Services acts solely as an authorised agent of the Promoter to facilitate the sale and delivery of tickets. Session Services is not the organiser, producer, or host of any event listed on the platform.

2. Purchasing Tickets

2.1. By completing a purchase through Session Services, you agree to these Conditions of Sale, including our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

2.2. All ticket purchases are subject to availability. Session Services reserves the right to limit the number of tickets that may be purchased per transaction or per customer.

2.3. You must provide accurate and complete information when purchasing tickets, including your name, email address, and payment details. Session Services may cancel any order where inaccurate or fraudulent information is provided.

2.4. A valid payment method is required to complete a purchase. Session Services accepts payment by credit card and debit card via our secure payment processing partners.

2.5. A ticket purchase is complete once you receive a confirmation email from Session Services containing your ticket(s). If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at the details provided on our website.

3. Ticket Prices and Fees

3.1. The total amount payable for each ticket comprises:

  • the ticket face value (the "Ticket Price"), as set by the Promoter;
  • a booking fee, charged per ticket for the provision of the Session Services ticketing platform;
  • a transaction fee, to cover payment processing costs; and
  • a delivery fee, if you elect to receive your ticket via SMS.

3.2. All fees and charges are displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase. All amounts are displayed in the currency applicable to your transaction and include any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3.3. The booking fee, transaction fee, and delivery fee (collectively, "Service Fees") are charges for services provided by Session Services at the time of booking and are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

4. Ticket Delivery

4.1. Tickets are delivered electronically. The following delivery methods are available:

  • E-Ticket: Emailed to the address provided at checkout at no additional charge. Your e-ticket includes a scannable QR code or barcode required for entry to the event.
  • SMS Delivery: Your e-ticket is delivered by SMS to the mobile number provided at checkout for a fee of $2.00 per order (incl. GST), if you elect this option.

4.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address and/or mobile number you provide at checkout are correct. Session Services is not liable for tickets that are not received due to incorrect contact details.

4.3. You are responsible for retaining your ticket and presenting it at the event venue. Session Services is not responsible for lost, deleted, or inaccessible tickets, although we will use reasonable efforts to assist you.

5. What Your Ticket Entitles You To

5.1. A ticket is a revocable licence granting the holder a right of admission to the specified event, subject to the Promoter's and venue's conditions of entry.

5.2. A ticket does not guarantee admission. Entry may be refused by the Promoter or venue operator in accordance with their conditions of entry, including (without limitation) requirements relating to age, identification, dress code, intoxication, or prohibited items.

5.3. If you are refused entry due to the application of the Promoter's or venue's conditions of entry, your right to a refund is governed by the Refund Policy below.

6. Ticket Transfers and Resale

6.1. Tickets purchased through Session Services may not be resold, transferred, or otherwise distributed to any third party without the prior written consent of Session Services and the Promoter.

6.2. Any ticket that has been resold or transferred in breach of this clause may be cancelled without refund, and the holder may be refused entry to the event.

6.3. Session Services may introduce a ticket transfer or resale facility in the future and will update these Conditions of Sale accordingly.

7. Refund Policy

Event cancellation

7.1. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you are entitled to a full refund of the Ticket Price. Service Fees are non-refundable, as they relate to services already provided at the time of booking.

Event rescheduled

7.2. If an event is rescheduled to a new date, your ticket will remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund of the Ticket Price by contacting Session Services before the rescheduled event date. Service Fees are non-refundable.

Significant change to event

7.3. If an event is materially altered (for example, a significant change in headline artist or venue), you may request a refund of the Ticket Price by contacting Session Services before the event date. Whether a change is material will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Service Fees are non-refundable.

Change of mind

7.4. Tickets are generally not refundable for change of mind. As tickets provide a right of admission to a specific event on a specific date, they are exempt from the cooling-off period that applies to certain consumer purchases under Australian Consumer Law.

Refused entry

7.5. If you are refused entry to an event for reasons within your control (for example, failure to comply with the venue's conditions of entry), you are not entitled to a refund.

7.6. If you believe you were unreasonably refused entry, you should contact the Promoter directly. Session Services may, at the Promoter's direction, facilitate a refund.

Requesting a refund

7.7. To request a refund, contact Session Services via the details on our website. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear in your account.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

7.8. Nothing in these Conditions of Sale excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

8. Chargebacks and Disputes

8.1. If you have a concern about a transaction, please contact Session Services before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card provider. We will work with you and the Promoter to resolve the matter.

8.2. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Session Services may delay resolution and may result in the cancellation of your ticket(s) for the relevant event.

9. Prohibited Conduct

9.1. You must not:

  • use the Session Services platform for any unlawful purpose;
  • purchase tickets using fraudulent payment methods or stolen card details;
  • purchase tickets for the purpose of commercial resale without authorisation;
  • copy, reproduce, or counterfeit any ticket; or
  • attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent the Session Services platform or its security features.

9.2. Session Services reserves the right to cancel any tickets and suspend or terminate your access to the platform if you breach these conditions.

10. Event Information and Liability

10.1. All event information displayed on the Session Services platform (including event descriptions, dates, times, venues, and artist lineups) is provided by the Promoter. Session Services takes reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of event listings but does not guarantee that event information is complete, accurate, or up to date.

10.2. The Promoter is solely responsible for the production, management, and delivery of each event, including (without limitation) artist bookings, venue arrangements, safety, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

10.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Session Services is not liable for:

  • the cancellation, rescheduling, or alteration of any event;
  • the quality, safety, or suitability of any event;
  • the conduct of any Promoter, venue operator, artist, or other event participant;
  • any loss, injury, or damage sustained at or in connection with any event; or
  • any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your purchase or use of a ticket.

10.4. To the extent that Session Services' liability cannot be excluded by law, Session Services' total liability to you in connection with any ticket purchase is limited to the total amount you paid for that ticket, including Service Fees.

11. Privacy

11.1. Session Services collects, uses, and discloses your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

11.2. When you purchase a ticket, your personal information (including your name and email address) may be shared with the relevant Promoter for the purpose of event management, entry verification, and communication about the event.

11.3. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to being subscribed to communications from both Session Services and the relevant Promoter. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly. Session Services complies with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

12. General

12.1. These Conditions of Sale are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

12.2. If any provision of these Conditions of Sale is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

12.3. Session Services may update these Conditions of Sale from time to time. The current version will be published on our website. Continued use of the platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised conditions. Any ticket purchase is governed by the Conditions of Sale in effect at the time of purchase.

12.4. These Conditions of Sale, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Session Services in relation to your purchase of tickets through the Session Services platform.
